I recently saw a cool browser home page while looking at a friend’s laptop:
This is Momentum, a browser plugin available for Chrome (so far). It provides a replacement home tab with a number of features:
- A daily relaxing background photo of a beautiful landscape
- The current time
- A personalized welcome message
- A quote of the day
- A place to set your intention for today’s main focus point
- A widget to add shortcuts to links
- The local weather
- A built in task list
- The ability to Google search directly from the screen
