Investment and Finance Committee Volunteers Available from CFA Society Pittsburgh
Each year around this time we reach out to the local nonprofit community as many nonprofits, endowments, and foundations are now entering into a new fiscal year and reassessing the skill sets they need on their investment or finance committees.  While nonprofit organizations have volunteers who are passionate about their mission, they sometimes struggle to find dedicated and ethical volunteers that can offer guidance on financial matters.  If your organization is in need of skilled and experienced investment and/or finance committee volunteers, the CFA Society Pittsburgh would like to offer our assistance in identifying local investment professionals who seek to volunteer with organizations like yours. As part of a Community Outreach initiative, we currently have approximately 30 members who are experienced investment professionals seeking such opportunities. You may click here for a Fact Sheet with additional information about our organization. If you are interested in exploring our database of volunteers or have any questions about this program, please contact our society administrator, Caryn Loehr at info@cfapittsburgh.org or the program’s chair, Joe Lantz, CFA, CAIA at jlantz@federatedinv.com.
